PRX-T33: the first needle-free revitalizing treatment

Facial revitalization is a medical-aesthetic treatment that consists of preventing and improving the appearance of the skin by means of amino acids that are infiltrated with microinjections in the grooves of the face, neck and décolleté area. As a novelty, Dr. Rossana Castellana, an Italian dermatologist, has developed a new medical device for needle-free biorevitalization, the PRX-T33.

PRX-T33: What is it?

This medical device, presented by Dr. Natalia Ribé during the 30th Congress of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine, SEME, held in Malaga in February, is a new procedure based on the well-known trichloroacetic acid (TCA)-based peel, which, thanks to the discovery of its combination with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) penetrates the dermis very quickly, activating a regenerative process without damaging the epidermis.

PRX-T33 combines 33% TCA (trichloroacetic acid) – on which peelings are based – with hydrogen peroxide. In this fusion lies the novelty of this treatment: The mechanism of action of hydrogen peroxide combined with TCA minimizes the aggressive effects of peeling (frost or exfoliation of the dermis), stimulating the dermis in a non-invasive way.

PRX-T33 favors the stimulation of fibroblasts and growth factors without generating inflammation or damaging the skin. In addition, this treatment can be performed at any time of the year, unlike peeling, because it is not photosensitizing and is suitable for all skin types.

Uses of this treatment

1. This new needle-free biorevitalization protocol is indicated to combat flaccidity of facial and body tissues and to act as a skin biorevitalizer improving the appearance of the skin without damaging it.

2. To eliminate stretch marks or melasma that appears in the form of large spots in women before and after pregnancy and scars from chicken pox and acne.

3. It is also recommended for use as an adjuvant to laser and radiofrequency treatments to enhance results.

4. As a base treatment for those patients who undergo touch-ups with mini-threads, vitamins and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), fillers, laser.

5. It is recommended in combined treatments, because it enhances the benefits of both therapies separately.

Non-invasive medical device.

2. Non-ablative chemical stimulation of the dermis without exfoliating the epidermis.

3. It is absolutely painless.

4. It works very well as a single treatment and in associated treatments, the results are enhanced.

5. It is not photosensitizing, so it can be used even in summer.

6. Results are perceived immediately.

7. After the treatment there is no bruising or redness, so the patient can lead a normal life.
