Embryo vitrification
Embryo vitrification is the embryo freezing technique that Embriogyn has been using since 2010, also being pioneers in the application of this type of freezing in Spain. This technique provides very high survival rates, specifically up to 98% of the embryos survive the freezing and thawing process, resulting in thawed embryos with the same pregnancy rates as in fresh embryos.
When in an IVF cycle there are more good quality embryos than can be assumed to be transferred in the fresh cycle, the rest are frozen for future use. In the case of this center, the gestation rates of frozen embryos are the same as with embryos in the fresh cycle.
Fertility preservation
There are patients who, for certain reasons (medical or social and personal), decide to freeze their eggs in order to preserve their fertility. In these cases, Embriogyn gives them priority and the maximum possible facilities. In addition, they reduce the cost to a minimum, assuming the treatment at a very low cost for them, giving priority to the desire for preservation.
