After surgery, physical exertion should be avoided for ten days in order to prevent bleeding.
Frequent nasal washes with saline or sterile sea water promote healing and make the postoperative period more comfortable.
In the case of nasal polyposis, prolonged treatment with topical nasal corticosteroids is recommended to avoid the reappearance of polyps.
