Menopause is the time when a woman stops having menstrual periods. It is considered fully established when a woman has not had a menstrual period for 12 months in a row.

The average age at which women enter menopause is 50 years (between 45 and 55). When the patient suffers from it before the age of 40, it is considered premature menopause, and when she is between 40 and 45, early menopause.

Symptoms of menopause

  • Physical and psychological changes

The symptoms and intensity of these may vary in each woman.

Menopause is not a disease, but a stage of life that can be great if a woman learns to take advantage of the time to reinvent herself:
