What is radiofrequency exilis and what is it used for?

Nowadays, the cult of the body has an important part in our lives. Diets, exercises and gym are the order of the day.

However, the road to the ideal body is very costly and takes a long time. For those patients who, despite their best efforts, fail to achieve the desired result, they can become discouraged and lose motivation.

Liposuction is an aesthetic operation that allows patients to achieve the desired result almost immediately, since the results are highly satisfactory.

Liposuction consists of dissolving and extracting the fat accumulated in different parts of the body such as the abdomen, arms, legs and other areas of the body by means of a suction effect from a cannula. This technique allows to refine the treated area and reshape the figure.

It is not a light treatment and, although the patient can resume his life immediately, it must be performed by qualified professionals to avoid the risks inherent to any type of surgical intervention performed without the corresponding control and safety measures.

For this reason, at the Granado Tiagonce Plastic Surgery Clinic, one of the best cosmetic surgery clinics in Madrid, we propose a high quality treatment with a personal follow-up.

At the end of the surgery, the two problems that are presented to the patient are the scar and the loss of mobility. For this reason, a girdle is provided that they will have to wear for a month to help reduce swelling. There are different treatment possibilities, but at the Clinic we work with exilis radiofrequency.

We chose this treatment because we want to work the tissue and produce a reorientation of the molecules and collagen through vibrations that heat the tissue. In this way, in addition to reaffirming the skin, the patient will be able to eliminate body flaccidity.

The most outstanding feature of exilis is the combination of ultrasound with a higher temperature than other radiofrequencies. The ultrasound has a thermal and mechanical effect, allowing to work the deepest cellulite and breaking the fat cells to promote its elimination.

Diathermy, in comparison with exilis, is not combined with ultrasound, so its function remains in the superficial or deep heating of the tissues.

To conclude, it is worth remembering that exilis radiofrequency treatment is one of the most recognized treatments in aesthetic medicine, since many scientific studies positively value its application on scars and the results it offers on the skin and fat removal.

In order to make our postoperative treatments as efficient and complete as possible, we also opt for Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) treatment. It is an important part of the treatment, as it drains excess inflammation and improves the patient’s quality of life by increasing cell metabolism, waste evacuation and microcirculation. This will prevent the scar from becoming hypertrophic.

This complete treatment is performed by our postoperative physiotherapist unit, specialist in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
