This is an operation that consists of augmenting the female breast with the patient’s own fat. The breast is augmented, filled and reshaped. The results are very satisfactory because you get a more attractive breast one size larger. The procedure consists first of assessing and taking body measurements of each breast to calculate the fat needed. The fat is obtained from the body itself through liposuction, and for this purpose the area or areas where the fat will be obtained are selected, the most common areas are: abdomen, flanks, trochanters (cartridge cases) or the inner thighs and knees.
Once the fat is obtained, it is prepared, centrifuged and cleaned in the operating room and infiltrated into the breast region through minimal incisions.
The result is immediate and very natural in shape, feel and mobility. It can be done under local anesthesia and sedation or general anesthesia but the whole procedure is painless and the patient can go home to sleep or spend a night at the clinic (Centro Medico Teknon). The advantages of this operation are that it is a completely natural breast augmentation with the patient’s own tissue.
The use of the patient’s own fat, as a filling material to restore and give volume or remodeling, avoids any possible rejection or incompatibility, being a filling with autologous fat. The technique of fat implantation is very important to ensure that the fat survives in the implanted area and maintains the volume achieved.
