In the last five years we have experienced an increase of patients, in our institute, coming from different parts of Spain, who presented problems with breast prostheses: encapsulation, rupture, fibrosis, pain. 70% of women with breast prosthesis problems do not want to wear them again.
Our experience in the field of breast reconstruction and reconstruction with adipose tissue grafts allows us to restore the breasts of patients. First, we perform liposuction with the EVO machine of Humanmed Body Jet to obtain the adipose tissue grafts. With it, thanks to its suction pressure control system, we achieve more than 70% survival of the grafts. The next step is to replace the implant with the adipose tissue grafts obtained and, in some cases, performing a breast lift if necessary.
The results are spectacular and the patient no longer suffers pain or discomfort and, although with this method you can lose a size, since the adipose tissue grafts can not give as much volume as a prosthesis, the benefit in quality of life is enormous because the pain disappears, contractures and recover a more natural shape and texture of the breasts.
