‘The intelligent diet for runners’, the new book of the nutrition experts of the Alimmenta Center

La dieta inteligente para runners is the latest book written by the team of the Alimmenta Center, one of the first level centers that is part of Top Doctors. Along the same lines as The Smart Diet, this new book offers all the information an athlete needs to plan his nutrition and daily diet, throughout the different stages of his life as a runner: training phase with progressive levels, competition phase and rest phase. The book proposes a program to reduce body weight and exposes all the key points as well as the parameters that will determine the energy expenditure and, therefore, the energy that the diet should provide for a correct performance of the physical activity of a runner.

Thus, Juana Mª González, Júlia Farré, Anabel Fernández, Anna Sauló and Jessica Hierro help us to plan our diet and improve our training so that thanks to running we feel better every day. The authors provide the best advice so that each reader can establish their training plans and progressively improve performance in their races, as well as reduce the time in the different competitions in a remarkable way, without affecting their health. On the contrary!

What does the Smart Diet propose?

To lose weight in a healthy way, with a positive attitude, learning to eat by changing our habits. A healthy diet that does not include depriving ourselves of the foods we like the most to achieve the weight we want and maintain it.
