Testimonial from Margarita Escarpa, musician and patient of Dr. Homid Fahandezh:

“For a musician, there are few things worse than not being able to make music. In August 2019, I fell while playing sports and as a result I had a broken left distal radius that required surgical intervention. The operation performed by Dr. Homid Fahandezh and his team was a work of art, and with his advice and follow up he made my recovery break all records in speed and efficiency. As if that were not enough, the treatment could not have been more humane, better… Impossible! All my fears of not being able to continue playing evaporated from the first moment, the battle was easy to win, I have returned to the stage less than 4 months after the operation, and not only I have not lost anything but I have gained a lot. With much emotion, my deepest thanks to Dr. Homid Fahandezh and all his team, thanks to you my guitar and I are still smiling.”

Distal radius fractures

Distal radius fractures are common injuries that account for between 75% of wrist fractures. They especially affect women between the 6th and 7th decade of life, although they can also occur in young patients after sports accidents, motorcycle falls or accidents at work. Initially its treatment is conservative, through orthopedic reduction and cast placement. Once conservative treatment does not work, surgical treatment is considered.
