On the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of the Hospital HM Montepríncipe, the University Hospital HM Puerta del Sur will open its doors this Sunday, November 16 in Móstoles, in the Community of Madrid.
This new hospital will have a surface area of 24,262.35 m2 and will house the Centro Integral en Neurociencias A.C. (HM CINAC). This new area aims to be a center of reference in the diagnosis, research and treatment of neurodegenerative, neurofunctional and psychiatric diseases.
The Puerta Sur Hospital will offer its services to 250,000 citizens of Móstoles, the second most populated municipality in the autonomous community. Its assistance will cover different health areas with the aim of being an innovative medical-surgical center. It will also incorporate the Top Doctors center of medical excellence in the specialty of rheumatology, the REUMACARE Unit.
The investment for this new center has been 42 million euros and will have 450 jobs. In line with the philosophy of the other hospitals in the same group, HM Puerta del Sur will be a university hospital. One of the buildings will be used for teaching and research and will start to be used the same day the hospital opens.
