Top Doctors has just announced a new €3 million investment to deploy its internationalization and technological development strategy. The digital platform, leader in the identification of top doctors and medical centers in the world, has established itself in just 4 years in 7 countries -Spain, Italy, UK, Chile, Mexico, Colombia- and in the USA thanks to its American partners Castle Connolly America’s Top Doctors, leaders in the selection of doctors in the USA and based in New York. Top Doctors has managed to position itself among the 10 European digital health companies with a turnover of more than 3 million euros a year, according to a study carried out by the European Union through the eHealth Hub consultancy.
In order to move forward with its consolidation strategy as a global company, expanding the number of markets in which it operates, and with the aim of continuing to invest in new cutting-edge technologies, Top Doctors has received the support of Addventure Capital, through a Series C financing round, round in which Top Doctors has repurchased the shares of Societat d’Inversió dels Enginyers, S. L. (Fons Enginyers), a fund managed by Enginova (COEIC/AEIC) and Banc Sabadelll, which successfully divested after its entry into the company in 2015. The signing of this financing round makes Top Doctors one of the few Spanish e-Health companies to achieve a foreign capital investment for such a high amount.

Last February, Top Doctors presented its new medical APP at the latest edition of the Mobile World Congress. The application has a pioneering symptom evaluator that offers users an instant pre-diagnosis with a reliability of over 90% and gives them the opportunity to communicate instantly, via private messages, with a top-level doctor who is an expert in their pre-diagnosis. The symptom evaluator has been approved by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Clinical Devices as a class 1 device. Through the application the user can access all the services that the company was already providing, such as the online appointment system in real time that allows the patient to request a medical appointment at any time, 365 days a year.
Doubling turnover year after year
