Hidden penis, know this type of malformation in the male genitalia

Concealed penis is a penis, in appearance, small but has nothing to do with the micro penis. The occult penis contains some malformation while the micropenis is a normal penis only smaller than the standard penis.

The concealed penis can present itself in three ways.

  • Buried penis: it is of normal size but is hidden in the pubic tissue by a lack of skin attachment to the base of the penis.
  • webbed penis: the problem lies in the disappearance of the prenoscrotal angle by a distal extension of the scrotal skin on the ventral wax of the penis.
  • Trapped penis: it appears as a consequence of scars following an operation, generally circumcisions performed on hidden penises.

Concealed penis operation

The objective of the operation is to recover the fixation of the penile skin to restore angle and size. The operation is performed under general anesthesia combined with local anesthesia through a catheter to attenuate the postoperative period. The operation usually lasts an hour and a half. Patients are usually discharged after 24 hours.
