Towards an efficient educational model

The Institute of Neurosciences Applied to Education (INAE) arises from the vocational spirit of a group of professional experts in the area of education, neurosciences and new technologies. Its primary objective is to meet the needs generated in the academic and family environment to address the difficulties of children and adolescents in the school environment.

Fundamentals of work:

– Attending to diversity in the classroom, understanding difference as a source of personal enrichment and social development.

– Redefine disability by understanding the capacity for development and personal autonomy as the way to achieve basic competencies (those necessary to cover the basic needs of the individual) and the abilities of each child to achieve excellence in each of the areas of knowledge, which make social development possible.

– To know the medical, psychiatric and psychological diseases that underlie academic difficulties and school problems, seeking the creation of protocols for early detection and intervention from the school environment in collaboration with health professionals and experts in the area of neurosciences.

– To assess the child and adolescent from their social and family context.

– To work on the basis of trust in the desire to excel and the capacity for success of each child: “you just have to know where their genius lies and “you just have to put the barriers to their measure in order to get them started”.

From INAE, through a multidisciplinary work of neuropsychologists, educational psychologists, psychologists, family therapists, specialized teachers and specialists in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, we try to offer methodological alternatives, didactic strategies and learning motivation, which allow to improve the adaptation of the child to his environment and achieve his maximum personal development in an integral way.
