At Menja sa, they come in looking for a diet and leave with a new healthy lifestyle

They were born at the end of 2009 in the middle of the crisis. They currently have two of their own centers where they implement a combined method: nutritional and emotional.

From an internal study conducted two years ago “we observed that 70% of people who come to our office show problems with food derived from stress, anxiety, or problems related to body dissatisfaction and / or concerns about weight, among others, which make them require a reinforcement in the emotional part”.

As a result of this study, the Menja sa method was born. It consists of a combined method that helps patients to balance their nutritional and emotional state. Through healthy eating, and therapeutic indications supported by scientific evidence, a multidisciplinary team formed by Dietitians-Nutritionists and health psychologists who play the role of nutritional counselor, try in a personalized way, to find the origin of the cause that leads patients to make an unhealthy diet and not feel comfortable with their image.

“With the method, not only the patient is identified and guided, but tools are provided so that the person learns to have a healthy lifestyle (food and physical activity), learns to value themselves more and to be self-sufficient to carry out these habits continuously over time”. This is why “patients who had been looking for a diet come out with a new healthy lifestyle that will serve them for the rest of their lives”.

Scientific journals in the medical field indicate that this therapeutic approach, which contemplates both nutritional and psychological aspects, produces excellent results in terms of adherence to dietary guidelines, resulting in significant improvements in biological and behavioral markers of health. Published studies indicate that this type of intervention has also been shown to be more effective than other interventions, in those cases that require complex dietary guidelines that are difficult to adapt in the person’s real world.
