Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment

What does laser tattoo removal treatment consist of?

The removal of tattoos with laser consists of making sessions using this light system, which allows the ink to be erased in each session. In this way, the tattoo becomes lighter and lighter, until it is finally erased.

The treatment consists of making sessions, with a space of three months between each session, until it is completely removed. What the laser does exactly is to micropulverize the ink molecules of this pigment, it destroys it leaving the rest of the tissue intact and micropulverizes it in such a way that the body itself absorbs it over time, that is to say, it lightens the ink little by little. Once the most superficial layers are eliminated, a new session is done so that this pigment is micropulverized again and so on until it is completely erased.

Can any type of tattoo be removed?

Any type of tattoo can be removed but the easiest to remove are the dark ones, those that are black or blue. These have a wavelength, which are very similar or very selective for the laser. Especially those of seven hundred and fifty-five nanometers, which are easily removed in a few sessions. Those with color are more difficult, especially yellow and green.

How many sessions are necessary to remove a tattoo?

To remove a tattoo by laser, several sessions are required every three months. Approximately, to remove a black or bluish tattoo, we need between six and eight sessions. Obviously, it depends mainly on the amount of ink that has this tattoo, that is to say, those that are very superficial or very blurred in a few sessions will be enough. We have even removed a tattoo in a single session, but there was very little ink. Normally they have several layers of ink and in each session we remove a little of this tattoo, so that we lighten it with the sessions and each time there is less color.
