Is menopause fattening?

It is true that many women gain between 2 and 4 kgs during menopause. But it is important to know that, contrary to what is said, this gain is not a direct consequence of the decrease in ovarian hormones.

It should also be noted that weight is gained differently and accumulates in the abdominal belt due to the action of male-type hormones.
