What is carboxytherapy?

What is carboxytherapy?

It is a technique in which we inject CO2 under pressure with which we will achieve an increase of oxygen that irrigates the tissue and this will lead on the one hand to the synthesis of collagen, that is to say, that the elastic fibers increase, which will help us to combat flaccidity, and on the other hand, by injecting CO2 under pressure we will break the cells, therefore, the destruction of adipocytes and this will lead to a slimming.

How is carboxytherapy applied?

It is applied by injection. With a very fine insulin-type needle we introduce CO2 into the epidermal tissue, thus achieving a vasodilator effect, which will increase the irrigation of the area and increase collagen synthesis. On the other hand, by the effect of CO2 pressure, we will achieve the destruction of fat cells, and therefore a slimming effect.

What aesthetic uses can we find in the carboxytherapy treatment?

The aesthetic use of carboxytherapy at body level can be to combat cellulite; also, if we stimulate the synthesis of collagen, it fights flaccidity; at facial level we get a very nice lifting effect and surprisingly it is also working very well on stretch marks as it regenerates the fibrotic tissue.

How many sessions are necessary to achieve the desired effects?

At body level we will need approximately 8-10 sessions. At facial level the number of sessions is reduced to about 4 sessions separated one from the other of about a month.
