Who is ULTHERAPY

Ultera facial or Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that performs a facial tightening by taking advantage of the body’s own regenerative response to reposition the muscular structure of the face and neck. It achieves a tightening and toning effect, resulting in firmer and smoother skin.

It is the only high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) system that has a built-in ultrasound scanner to determine, simultaneously with the treatment, the exact level where the energy is deposited.

How does ULTHERAPY work?

This system uses ultrasonic waves to create thermocoagulation points at 65 degrees, very precise and at depths of 1.5 – 3.0 and 4.5 millimeters below the surface of the skin.

There is no non-invasive technique that goes as deep as the Ulthera facial treatment.

In addition, through an ultrasound scanner, the layers of the skin are observed until reaching the muscle, being able to determine the exact area and depth where to apply the treatment.

How is Ultherapy different from other treatments?

Ultrasound really is a useful tool, as it helps to locate the exact treatment site. This contributes to Ultherapy being the only system that treats the superficial musculature of the face and neck safely and without convalescence.

What does the treatment feel like?

At the time of treatment, upon receiving the ultrasound energy the patient may feel small energy discharges, deposited at the precise depth, indicating that the process of collagen generation and collagen has been initiated.

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy?

The person who notices that their jaw line is blurred and there is also a relaxation of the facial oval.

Ultherapy is an alternative for people who do not want to undergo surgical treatment, although it does not produce the results of surgery.

How long does the treatment last?

The length of treatment depends on the area to be treated and the individualized treatment plan established for each patient.

For example, a face and neck treatment lasts around 60-90 minutes, while the décolleté is treated in approximately 30 minutes.
