Dr. Monés attends the prestigious National Institute of Health (NIH) in Washington

Dr. Jordi Monés, Director of the Institut de la Màcula i de la Retina and Medical Director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation will give a lecture tomorrow, Wednesday 19 February, at 11 a.m. at the prestigious Lawton Chiles International House of the National Institute of Health (NIH), in Bethesda, Maryland. “Subtle details in Inconclusion Criteria May Be the Key for Success of Clinical Trials for Chronic Conditions” is the title of the lecture in which Dr. Monés, a member of Top Doctors, will present his knowledge and experience in clinical research, through examples based on cases of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

Dr. Monés is one of the most prestigious doctors in AMD and, among other things, he will explain the importance of individually assessing the speed at which geographic atrophy occurs in AMD, in order to obtain a more accurate prognosis and to be able to better define the eligibility criteria in the evaluation of the efficacy results of clinical trials.
