The TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) conferences, which will take place this year in Valladolid next Saturday, September 20, will be attended by Dr. Ricardo Ruiz Rodriguez, a leading dermatologist and member of Top Doctors.
Dr. Ruiz has been chosen as one of the speakers at this year’s TED conferences in recognition of his professional career, his numerous publications and his extensive experience. His talk, “Nothing deeper than skin”, is framed within the theme of this year’s event, “Imperfections”. Dr. Ruiz, from his daily work in dermatology, and through careful scientific rigor, will try to demonstrate how people’s lives can be changed through our skin.
A prestigious conference
The TED conferences were born in the USA, and consist of annual congresses where all kinds of creative and innovative ideas are shared on topics ranging from the visual arts, literature or science. To get an idea of its importance and the prestige of Dr. Ruiz as a speaker at this edition, it is worth mentioning the active participation of important personalities such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Al Gore or Isabel Allende in previous editions of TED.
