Free testing for all with ‘Stop Glaucoma’

As part of World Glaucoma Week and World Glaucoma Day, which are being celebrated from 8 to 15 March and 9 March, respectively, the Institut de la Màcula i de la Retina has launched the campaign called ‘Stop Glaucoma’, as a measure to raise awareness of this eye disease by offering free tests for everyone.

Anyone wishing to take the test to check whether or not they have glaucoma will be able to do so during these days both at the Institut de la Màcula i de la Retina and at four pharmacies throughout the country.

The pharmacies and the days available are as follows:

  • March 10 (10:00h to 13:30h). Pons Pharmacy in Andorra Avenue, 11, Tarragona (977 215 572).
  • March 10 (16:30h to 20:30h). Blanca Cogul Pharmacy at Antoni Reig Street, 14, Torredembarra (977 640 003)
  • March 12 (16:30h to 20:00h). Vila Badia Pharmacy at Molí Avenue, 37 in Viladecans (936 376 900)
  • March 13 (09:00h to 14:00h) at Farmacia La Florida at Calle La Florida, 53 of Hospitalet de Llobretat (934 492 738)
