The outstanding Plastic Surgeon Óscar Villafañe, member of Top Doctors, has been awarded with the Gold Medal of the Forum Europe 2001 as merit to his professional career.
The ceremony in which Dr. Villafañe, specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, was awarded the Gold Medal of the Forum Europe 2001, took place on May 29th at the Palace Hotel in Madrid.
Dr. Villafañe states that although the aim of his work is not to obtain distinctions, but to do the best service to others, “it is always nice to know that there are those who value the personal and professional efforts of others.”
The event is held annually, this being the 18th edition. The Forum Europe 2011 awards this medal to outstanding individuals in the legal, cultural, business or medical fields who stand out for their professional career, Europeanism or humanity.
Some outstanding personalities who have received the Forum Europe 2001 Gold Medal award in past editions are: Luis del Olmo, Josep Piqué, Carmen Posadas or Joaquín Barraquer among others.
