Dr. Pacheco Galván, at the III International Symposium on Cough in Clinical Practice

Dr. Adalberto Pacheco Galván will participate in the III International Symposium on Cough in Clinical Practice, to be held in Barcelona on January 18-19. The event will be attended by leading specialists in Pneumology to report on developments in the field of cough.

The III International Symposium Cough in Clinical Practice will be held in Barcelona on January 18th and 19th. Dr. Adalberto Pacheco, Pneumologist specialized in asthma and chronic cough of difficult management and member of Top Doctors, will participate as a member of the Scientific Committee. Also participating in the event are the members of Top Doctors Dr. Josep Morera Prat, Pneumologist expert in COPD, bronchial asthma, sarcoidosis and sleep apnea and the pneumologist from Burgos, Dr. Pueyo Bastida.

Cough is the most prevalent clinical symptom in respiratory pathology, and the III International Symposium on cough in clinical practice will try to provide an update on the situation of one of the most common problems to deal with in medical practice, such as cough, providing all those who attend with the most updated information for the management of cough in different clinical situations, such as COPD, asthma, cough in children…

The symposium will follow a conventional methodology, with a series of keynote lectures offered in a unique classroom.

Member of the Scientific Committee of the III International Symposium on cough in clinical practice, Dr. Adalberto Pacheco participates as moderator in the second session on Friday, between 11:10 and 12:10. In the third session of the day, between 12:30 and 13:20, Dr. Adalberto Pacheco will present a lecture on cough in clinical practice. Pacheco Galván will give a keynote lecture on Respiratory Reflux and Airway Diseases.

Dr. Adalberto Pacheco Galván is founder and head of the Asthma and Difficult to Manage Cough Unit at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, and the only Spanish physician proposed as a member of the Consensus Committee for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Cough in the European Respiratory Society (ERS). He is currently the director of the Asthma and Chronic Cough Unit at Centro Médico Habana 17.
