He is also president of the Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology (SEOR), as well as a member of the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO), the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), the Federation of Oncological Societies (FESEO), the Spanish Association for Cancer Research (ASEICA) and the Andalusian Cancer Society (SAC).
