Non-surgical aesthetic treatments to balance the face

The latest trends developed in the field of Aesthetic Medicine allow patients to improve their appearance in a balanced way. The use of these techniques, increasingly less aggressive and with hardly any side effects, allows natural and discreet results to be achieved.

In any case, it is important to personalize the treatment according to a series of factors that can influence the final result: age, weight, health, features, profession, personality and mood, among others. For this reason, it is important that the specialist knows the patient, so that he/she can guide him/her from a medical, aesthetic and emotional point of view.

New aesthetic treatments without surgery

Nowadays, it is possible to perform a series of treatments without having to undergo surgery, such as reshaping a nose with fillers, ensuring that the profile is proportionate with the shape of the lips.

On the other hand, it is possible to give more light to the eyes, softening the color of dark circles using techniques such as carboxytherapy, peelings or plasma.

There are also new ways of administering botulinum toxin, which make it possible to achieve results in the form of relaxed aspects, never paralyzed. These are new concentrations and well-applied doses that take into account the orientation of the needles.

Regarding treatments to reduce fat and cellulite, they can be improved with collagen inducers, tensor threads and radiofrequency combined with hygienic and dietetic habits for a good aesthetic health.

Dark circles under the eyes: improving the look and appearance

Dark circles under the eyes reflect tiredness and sadness as a consequence of genetics or life circumstances. In this sense, dark circles under the eyes have always been a difficult aesthetic problem to treat, because it is a delicate area, with thin skin and very close to the orbital socket, so that any treatment must be performed by a specialist to avoid bruising and edema. Over the years, different techniques have been used to treat dark circles under the eyes, without achieving good results, such as electro-medicine devices, injectable materials and other home remedies.

Recently, however, new techniques have been developed to improve the dark circles under the eyes, the look and the appearance of the patients. The procedure to perform this technique consists of exploring, cleaning and marking the area of application to the patient. After an ointment with anesthesia is applied, a combination of three techniques is applied:

  • For eye drooping, two units of botulinum toxin are applied to the outer corner of each eye to achieve a more open look.
  • For fat loss in the periocular area, the area is filled with semi cross-linked hyaluronic acid with a complex of amino acids, antioxidants and vitamin B6.
  • For purplish discoloration caused by stress, carboxytherapy is applied and the area is massaged. This activates circulation and lightens the bluish color.

This new treatment can transform a sad look and a tired face, achieving a relaxed and fresh appearance without having to undergo surgery.
