Lipolaser, a device for small liposuctions

Lipolaser is a less invasive and less aggressive method of liposuction than conventional liposuction. The treatment is based on the energy emitted by a laser that directly attacks the adipose tissue, destroying the wall of the fat cells. In this way, the accumulation of fat being treated is reduced.

In our center we have a more advanced technology, the laser has a second wavelength. This heats the collagen in the fibrous tracts or under the skin, allowing a better skin retraction.

Lipolaser is indicated to treat specific areas that could present risks in a classic liposuction. Areas such as the neck, arms, the root of the thighs, the upper abdomen (epigastric area), or areas at risk for possible poor skin retraction. This treatment is a good choice for patients who wish to reduce localized fat because the postoperative period is more bearable, but it is not suitable for large liposuction procedures.

Immediate results

Regarding the areas to be treated, there are no contraindications different from those of conventional liposuction. The results can be seen almost immediately, although it is necessary to wait three months for any swelling that may have occurred to disappear.
