What is wood therapy?

Wood therapy is a therapy that consists of stimulating the body with different wooden tools that are adapted to different areas of the body, with the aim of reducing stress levels and thus relieving muscle and joint pain. Although it is a holistic technique, nowadays, it has aesthetic purposes, because its use has been extended to combat cellulite, reaffirming and toning the body.

  • Modeling board: used to model areas of the skin, draining fat and promoting the elimination of toxins.

Preparation for wood therapy

To prepare for the wood therapy sessions, the specialist performs a massage to prepare the skin and remove the fat accumulated in the area. After this step, the therapist applies essential oils that have slimming properties. He then massages the patient again. Finally, the massage is performed using the wooden accessories.
