Basic Microsurgery Course for Residents

From January 19 to 22, 2016 will be held the Basic Course of Microsurgery for Residents of the University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla in Santander and which is directed by the specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery and member of Top Doctors, Dr. Ayala Gutiérrez.

The course aims to improve the knowledge and use of different microsurgical techniques, as well as the use of laboratory animals in the field of experimental microsurgery. Microsurgery is understood as the application of specific tools and optical magnification elements to go beyond the visual acuity of the specialist.

The theoretical-practical course comprises each day a theoretical session on different aspects of microsurgery with a corresponding practical class. Classes will start every day at 8.30 am and will end at 2.30 pm.
