Dr. Monés participates in the 13th International AMD and Retina Congress in Dublin

The 13th International AMD and Retina Congress will be held in Dublin on October 25th and 26th, where internationally renowned specialists will present their latest research and clinical practice. There will also be different plenary sessions, round tables and case studies.

Dr. Jordi Monés, Medical Director of the Barcelona Macula Foundation and member of Top Doctors, is one of the participants with two interventions on Friday 25th. The first one has been carried out under the title Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Long-Term Management, Safety, and Cost, Dr. Monés has presented in this session successful clinical cases. He has also given his opinion on the long-term management of exudative AMD cases unresponsive to current conventional anti-VEGF treatment. Other specialists who will also participate in this lecture are Sobha Sivaprasad from England, Jean-Francois Korobelnik from France and Rafael Navarro from Spain.

Also during this afternoon, the doctor will give a Master Class together with Dr. Emin Ozmert, from the University of Ankara, entitled New imaging techniques: Instrumentation for visualizing the instruments of vision. In it, he will give his opinion, through clinical cases, on two topics of much debate in the current management of retinal diseases. The first topic is about visualization and different presentations of the same retinal lesion (Different visualization of the same finding). The second topic deals with the diagnosis of macular diseases through challenging clinical cases.
