Top Doctors reaffirms the high level of medical quality and excellence. This week the I Monitor de Reputación Sanitaria (MRS) was presented, a ranking that classifies the doctors and clinics with the best reputation in Spain. It has been the doctors themselves and the healthcare staff as well as specialized journalists who have voted.
Different doctors from our medical staff, such as Dr. Josep Brugada Terradellas, expert in Cardiology; Dr. Borja Corcóstegui, expert in Ophthalmology or Dr. Eduard Gratacós, expert in Gynecology, are among the best in their specialty. This shows that Top Doctors, the only medical directory of excellence in Spain, brings together the best doctors in all fields of medicine.
A total of 14 specialties have been recorded, representing 85% of hospital activity, Family and Community Medicine. The categories analyzed are divided into eight lists based on healthcare reputation in terms of the best hospitals, clinical services, medical and nursing professionals and healthcare products and insurance companies, among other categories.
The study has the backing of the medical and nursing associations, as well as patient associations and journalists in the healthcare field. To certify the independence and rigor of the ranking, an Advisory Board, made up of the general presidents of different areas of the healthcare world, has guided the different evaluation criteria. Three guidelines have been followed for the evaluation: perception, quality and care performance, and reputational merits.
