Top Doctors expects to increase its workforce by more than 50% in the next year

– Engineers, programmers, digital marketing specialists are the most sought-after profiles – Up to 70% of contracts for new jobs established by Top Doctors are indefinite contracts

Barcelona, August 1, 2017 – Top Doctors, the leading company in the identification of top doctors and medical centers, plans to increase its workforce by more than 50 employees in the coming months, incorporating new talent in both Europe and Latin America, key markets from which it is leading the transformation of the health sector in the world, through a strong commitment to technological innovation and excellence in the doctor-patient connection service.

A young and multidisciplinary workforce

Since its founding in 2013, Top Doctors has experienced significant growth, not only in turnover but also in human capital, doubling the workforce year after year. “The growth of the team that forms Top Doctors is done under quality parameters, in which up to 70% of the new jobs that are generated are made with permanent contracts,” explains Porciani.

Top Doctors has always worked in the search, attraction and retention of talent, both national and international, and today has a young staff of around 30 years of age, 40% of which is made up of women. The Top Doctors team comes from more than 20 nationalities, making multiculturalism and the use of different languages, such as English, Italian, Russian, French, Arabic, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish, among others, a priority.

In the search for expansion into new markets, Top Doctors is working on the development of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, in which profiles such as engineers, programmers, experts in digital marketing, sales and patient care are key to strengthening the line of business and supporting the company’s international expansion.

Top Doctors currently operates in 7 countries – Spain, Italy, UK, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and USA, in the latter through Castle Connolly America’s Top Doctors and has 3 main offices in Barcelona (Europe), Mexico DF (LATAM) and New York (USA).

Barcelona is the European hub and headquarters of the company, where most of the management team is located and from where all the technological development of Top Doctors is led. In Europe alone, more than 40 people are expected to be hired, which means that, in the short term, the company will also have to change location to accommodate the current and future team.

Mexico City, the driving force behind business in LATAM

LATAM, together with the European market, are the main markets in which Top Doctors expects to grow the most in the coming years. Headquartered in Mexico City, the company has 62 employees operating in Mexico, Colombia and Chile, of which around 40 workers joined during the last year. In addition, it is estimated that the workforce may increase by another 30 people in the next two years, again betting on young talent.
