This laser heats and destroys adipocytes, eliminating fat with little risk of collateral damage.
Lipolaser procedure
The lipolaser can be used under local anesthesia. For the procedure, the laser fiber is introduced through a 2 mm incision and when it moves through the fat it destroys the adipocytes by means of heat. The fat that remains liquefied under the skin is eliminated by the body. At the end of the procedure, a compression garment is worn for three or four weeks, with little discomfort and a quick recovery.
