What are micro-milled veneers?
Micro-milled veneers are 0.3 to 0.5 mm porcelain shells that are bonded to the external surface of the tooth without the need for grinding. They are used to correct alterations in one or several teeth such as changes in color, fractures, changes in shape, rotations, etc.
The materials we use are definitive, such as porcelain and adhesives, and have excellent properties. In this way, veneer treatments are very durable, as long as our teeth.
In addition, they do not cause any discomfort during or after the treatment, and you can use your teeth normally and eat any type of food. The only thing to keep in mind is that patients who clench or grind their teeth should be advised to wear a protective night splint to avoid long-term fractures.
