It has been more than 25 years since we incorporated Dental Implants to our treatment offer in our practice. We believed in them and prepared ourselves to offer them. From then to now the technique has evolved substantially. From what we did then to the daily practice we offer in our office is almost an abyss. Minimally Invasive Surgery, Immediate Loading, Immediate Implant after Exodontia, All on Four, Nobel Guide, Zirconia Implant Bridge and Same-day-teeth are the most used terms in our practice in our treatment offers to our patients.
Gone are the gingival flaps with the corresponding edema and hematomas, the long waits of more than six months and the discomfort of a conventional removable prosthesis while osseointegration takes place. Immediate provisional prostheses are common practice in our daily work.
A center with training
In our practice each patient is unique, and we will propose and offer them the best for their oral restoration within their economic possibilities, and always offering state-of-the-art technology. Our training is constant, trying to keep up to date with the latest advances in Implantology. Thus, in 1999 we began to perform immediate implants after exodontia, with survival rates of 96-98%. To this we added immediate loading, based on the Branemark Novum technique, Same-day-teeth, which was described in 2000.
Our patients do not leave without teeth, if the case allows it, after an implant surgery. The social and work activity of our patients is not influenced by the treatments we apply.
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is used on a daily basis. You could say that it is the installation of an implant “without surgery”. It is as simple as that. Immediate loading” is the ideal complement to this MIS, with the consequent satisfactory functional results that this entails.
All-on-four and Nobel Guide
In September 2003 we performed our first ALL-ON-FOUR case. Following the technique of Paulo Malo (Portugal) we installed 4 implants (hence the name “all on 4”) in a strategic way, which is indicated mainly in cases of bone atrophy in posterior segments, achieving a fixed prosthesis on the same day of the intervention without the need for bone grafts or distraction techniques. The results are very satisfactory and in our practice we are practicing this technique adding Total Exodontia, All-on-four and Immediate Loading in the same therapeutic act.
