Gluteal Tightening Threads

What is buttock lift with tensor threads?

The gluteal tensor threads are the modern alternative to the gluteal lift avoiding the use of prosthesis or major surgical interventions.

These tensor threads, also known as magic threads, ascend to the subcutaneous tissue of the buttocks, producing an elevation of the buttock and generating higher and rounder buttocks, lengthening the lower limbs and changing the proportion of the body.

However, its application is not possible in everyone, since the tensor threads may not generate the desired effect depending on the body and due to its characteristics.

Why is it performed?

The use of tensor threads to lift the buttocks is mainly based on the fact that they are a replacement for surgery and do not require as much effort as undergoing surgery. The main advantages of this method are the following:

  • It does not require hospitalization
  • It does not leave scars
  • Immediate results
  • It allows you to return to your routine without limitations
  • It is economical compared to conventional surgery

Its disadvantages, on the other hand, are the following:

  • It is not a gluteal augmentation, but a lift, which does not replace an augmentation surgery.
  • Its results are not permanent, and its duration ranges around two years, although the effects vary depending on each body.
  • Occasionally redness and swelling may occur.

What is the treatment with tensor threads in buttocks?

In the case that the surgeon recommends the use of tensor threads to lift the buttocks, the procedure -of about one hour- is as follows. First, a local anesthesia is applied, which lasts between one and two hours. Once the anesthesia is applied, the area is disinfected, and when everything is perfectly clean, a series of drawings will be made to mark the area where the small incisions will be implanted in the buttocks where the tensor threads will be placed. Once placed, the openings are closed and, once the minimum rest period of 24 to 72 hours has passed, the patient will be ready to enjoy their buttocks.

Care after the procedure

Since the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, the patient will return home the same day he/she undergoes the treatment. In this case, it is a painless procedure with a recovery time of about three to four days if all conditions are favorable. There may be some discomfort for the first few days, but this should not persist over time.
