Ginefiv, Edimsa award for the best healthcare institution of the year 2013

The assisted reproduction center and member of Top Doctors centers of excellence, Ginefiv, has been awarded the Edimsa Award for the best healthcare institution of 2013. An important recognition for this prestigious clinic, pioneer in Spain of important treatments and with 25 years of trajectory, in which it has helped more than 15,000 children to be born.

Among the milestones of Ginefiv is the birth of the first baby from frozen embryos in Madrid in 1988, the first birth after fertilization by Sperm Microinjection in 1996 and already in 2007 the clinic managed to bring to the world the first child after fertilization by IMSI. The Minister of Health, Social Services and Equality, Ana Mato, presented the award to Ginefiv, highlighting its brilliant trajectory and its efforts to make the latest advances in assisted reproduction available to patients.

The Edimsa Award for the best healthcare institution is a relevant recognition in the healthcare sector and has previously been granted to prestigious entities such as the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the National Transplant Organization, among others. Now the award recognizes the important work of the center directed by Dr. Bajo Arenas and Dr. Martínez de Arenaza.
