Dr. Juan José Galard receives the Medal of Health Merit

On October 25, Dr. Juan José Galard, specialist in Pain Unit and member of Top Doctors, was awarded the Medal of Health Merit. The award is granted by the Illustrious Academy of Health Sciences Ramón y Cajal, and was given in recognition of his excellent professional career and his notorious prestige in the field of health and welfare.

The presentation of medals took place in the Assembly Hall of the Ateneo de Madrid. It was awarded by the president of the Academy, Dr. Dña. Mª del Carmen Slocker de Arce, medical inspector of the Community of Madrid and Higher Degree in Medical Sophrology, surgeon and specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the Complutense University of Madrid. The vice-president of the Academy is Dr. D. Javier López-Ibor, specialist in clinical and forensic neuropsychology and university professor, part of the mental health team at HC Marbella International Hospital, a member of Top Doctors.
