The Atenea© technique consists of applying a hyaluronic acid based gel (specific for the area to be treated) containing a novel formula based on 8 amino acids, 3 antioxidants and encapsulated vitamin B to treat and fill the area of dark circles, in a natural and lasting way, in addition to redensifying the skin of the periocular area. The novel gel formula incorporates 0.3% lidocaine anesthesia so that the treatment is more comfortable for the patient.
This gel is a resorbable, non-permanent, sterile, viscoelastic, transparent and colorless product.
The treatment is intended for men and women of any age. Many times, dark circles under the eyes are a genetic inheritance and appear relatively early. In some cases the patients are young people who do not show wrinkles but have a sunken area. Other patients have undergone treatment for juvenile acne and have used very aggressive, absorbent and astringent creams, so the periocular area is very aged.
It can be applied in any type of skin and in patients with dark circles under the eyes, tear trough, palpebromalar sulcus, minimal malar or eyelid bags.
The average duration of treatment is one year and the results are immediate.
After the treatment, daily care of the area to be treated is recommended with the application of a serum and a specific cream for the eye contour in order to extend the effects of the treatment. It is advisable to use a serum with an instant anti-bags, anti-dark circles and anti-wrinkle effect based on substances with decontracting and tightening action such as hexapeptide with action on expression wrinkles as well as hyaluronic acid and collagen to moisturize and restructure the damaged tissue.
