Morpheus8, the new solution to end hyperhidrosis

What is hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a disease that causes excessive sweating in various areas of the body such as armpits, hands or feet and affects men and women equally. This sweating can occur in unusual situations, in cooler weather, or without any trigger. It can also be caused by other medical conditions, such as menopause or hyperthyroidism.

Suffering from this disorder, in addition to being annoying, can be very uncomfortable. It affects many of our patients in their daily lives and in their social relationships. However, there are several options that can reduce or even eliminate it.

Until now, the best known treatment for this condition was Botox. This toxin manages to block the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands, thus curbing excessive sweating and its effect usually lasts between 4 and 6 months.

However, in our practice we have just incorporated a new technique capable of combating hyperhidrosis that is even more effective than Botox: Morpheus8.

What is Morpheus8 and how does it help combat hyperhidrosis?

Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency system that manages to reduce excessive sweating by up to 80% in very few sessions and provides a long-term result. The treatment consists of introducing radiofrequency energy to the sweat glands, causing them to stop producing sweat and may even disappear.

In addition to needing only 1 to 3 sessions, the results are already visible after 15 days.
