Is the FUE Technique the best hair transplant technique

Over time, the technique of hair grafting has evolved in the world of Aesthetic Medicine, and with it, its name has evolved. Thus, the hair graft has come to be called micrograft, since the follicle is removed with a diameter of less than 1mm.

This technique can be applied to any area of the body where it is needed, both in the scalp and eyebrows or any other part of the body desired.

Micrografting with FUE technique

There are two techniques of hair micrografting:

  1. FUSS, i.e. strip technique.
  2. FUE

At the moment the FUE technique is being used more, since it is less traumatic, with much faster recovery for the patient and without scars. This technique consists of:

  1. The extraction hair by hair from the occipital area (back of the head) and temporal (sides of the head).
  2. Grafting these follicles in the recipient area needed by the patient.

Postoperative micrografting

The patient feels practically no pain afterwards and daily life can be carried out without any problems. The postoperative period is very simple. Simply for five to seven days should not touch the area receiving follicles (do not wear a helmet or hat or cap, do not wash and do not comb). In addition, specialists in aesthetic medicine who perform this technique are advised not to do sports, not to drink alcohol and not to bend down for about 15 days.

Results of hair micrografting

The results are optimal, since with the FUE technique the follicular acceptance by the patient is more than 90%. The result is totally natural, since it is a graft of the patient’s own hair and, in addition, the implanted follicles will no longer fall out. However, it is important to take care of the hairs that are not implanted so that they do not fall out early.
