Treatment of varicose veins with endolaser

What does the endolaser consist of?

The endolaser is a minimally invasive technique for the treatment of truncal varicose veins.

Through a small venous dissection, a fiber optic catheter is introduced and through the release of energy regulated by a bio-medical device, a fibrosis of the desired venous sector is obtained.

It is important to mention the “intumescence” technique prior to this procedure, which consists of separating the venous sector to be treated from the skin with continuous injection of saline into the subcutaneous cellular tissue.

What are the advantages over previous techniques?

As it is a minimally invasive technique, it allows outpatient treatment and better tolerance by patients, obtaining excellent clinical and aesthetic results.

This technique also allows the conventional treatment of the underlying venous pathology.

Can it eliminate all types of varicose veins?

The endolaser treatment allows to efficiently treat the insufficient venous sector of the main superficial pathway, being this sector the cause of chronic venous disease.

There are other additional aesthetic treatments that allow an adequate control of the so-called “spider veins”.
