Lifting without surgery

What is a non-surgical facelift?

A non-surgical facelift is a minimally invasive non-surgical facelift that aims to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, giving patients a more youthful appearance. Such procedures do not require any type of surgery or anesthesia.

This type of treatment requires a customized approach that is tailored to the patient’s needs.

Why is it performed?

This treatment serves to be able to enjoy a more youthful appearance without the need to undergo surgery. Its advantages are multiple:

Almost all procedures take a few minutes and require virtually no recovery period. Post-operative care is also minimal. In comparison, a surgical facelift has a recovery period that can last for months.

In addition, one of the great advantages of the non-surgical facelift is its reduced cost. This type of treatment is also recommended as a suitable treatment for younger patients, between 40 and 60 years of age. It is possible to perform these procedures on both men and women.

  • It can be applied in different areas of the body:
  • Cheek lift.
  • Jaw profile.
  • Crow’s feet.
  • Chin narrowing.
  • Narrowing and elevation of the nose.
  • Eyebrow lift.
  • Perfecting the appearance of the neck.
  • Rejuvenation of hands and feet.
  • Improvement of flaccidity in arms, legs and buttocks.

What does it consist of?

Ultherapy lifting technique

This treatment based on ultrasound is used to improve wrinkles and lines of the neckline, lift the skin of the neck, eyebrow and under the chin.

It consists in stimulating with ultrasound the production of new collagen and elastin in the deep layers of the skin. It is a very precise technique since it is the only focused ultrasound treatment that can be guided by ultrasound.

The results begin to appear after 3 months and last approximately 1 year.

Lifting technique with Thermage

It consists of a radiofrequency treatment patented by Thermage. It consists of heating the collagen present in the deep layers of the skin to stimulate the production of new skin cells and underlying tissue. This results in a smoother appearance with less fine lines and wrinkles.

The procedure takes only about 15 minutes and results usually last 1 to 2 years. Redness and swelling may usually appear after the procedure, but disappear within a few days.
Depending on the patient, one to three sessions are recommended initially, followed by an additional treatment once a year to maintain the results achieved.

PRP or Vampire Facelift Technique

The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facelift is well known among celebrities, such as the Kardashians.

The treatment consists of taking PRP from the patient’s blood and then injecting it into the problem areas of the skin. Platelets are used to regenerate the skin in the treatment of burns and skin lesions; they release growth factors that promote the production of collagen and achieve a more youthful appearance.

Thanks to PRP injections in lines and wrinkles, the contours of the face will be more defined and have a smoother appearance. Swelling and redness may usually appear after treatment, but disappear within a few days.

The procedure takes about an hour and results become visible over the next few weeks.
People with certain blood diseases, such as hypofibrinogenemia and sepsis, or liver disease, are not ideal candidates.

Laser lifting
The laser is used to remove portions of skin layer by layer. It acts on the superficial layers of the skin to regenerate them and achieve a smoother, tighter layer. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

The treatment is performed in two phases:
The first consists of an intervention under local anesthesia and the second is a series of sessions in the doctor’s office.

The intervention consists of introducing a probe that transmits the laser under the skin. This will stimulate the production of collagen and cause a retraction effect of the skin and reduce sagging.

Preparation and post-operative care

This type of treatment has the advantage of not needing special care after its application, since it does not require surgery. It does require several visits to the doctor for medical follow-up.
